These are custom-made patches for the Boss Katana MKII Modelling Amplifier. These specific patches sound best with single coil guitars (Stratocaster). They were created using a Fender MIM Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster.

This pack contains a unique set of patches with a range of sounds and tones which have been meticulously hand crafted by the guitarist and audio engineer Nick Rivers. These feature some of the tones Nick uses LIVE and in the studio.
UPDATING YOUR BOSS KATANA DRIVER/SYSTEM PROGRAM
To ensure your Nick Rivers BOSS Katana patches are loadable onto your BOSS Katana amp, you will need to have installed the latest drivers for the Boss Tone Studio Editor software & system updates for your Boss Katana amp.
You may be prompted to install these when you connect your Katana to the BOSS Tone Studio Editor software. Click this link to find your BOSS Katana model: https://www.boss.info/uk/support/updates_drivers/h_m/
Select the relevant Katana driver and/or system program for your Mac or Window PC. Download the file and follow the instructions on the page closely to update the firmware. Once complete, you will now be able to import your patches into the Boss Tone Studio Editor software.
IMPORTING NICK RIVERS PATCHES INTO YOUR BOSS KATANA MKII AMP
Congratulations on your new Nick Rivers Katana amp patches! To add them to your BOSS Katana amp, you will need to download and install the BOSS Tone Studio Editor software.
To do this - follow this link and choose your BOSS Katana model: https://www.boss.info/uk/support/updates_drivers/h_m/
Select the relevant BOSS Tone Studio software, either for Mac or Windows PC. Download the file and follow the instructions to install.
Once complete, open the BOSS Tone Studio Editor. Click on the 'Librarian' tab on the left side of the screen, then click 'Import' on the top bar. Locate and select your Nick Rivers patches. They will now be added to the Tone Studio Editor library.
Connect your BOSS Katana amp via USB to the BOSS Tone Studio Editor. Drag the Nick Rivers patches you want to use into the amp channel slots on the left side of the screen. Select the corresponding channel on your BOSS Katana amp, and BOOM! You've now got some ROCKIN' tube amp sounding tones!
